I have one, and would convert any chlorine pool to saltwater


You may need to replace the chlorinator every 5 years, but the cost savings and overall ease of maintenance make life so easy. I think the larger upfront cost seems to turn people off, but do the math and you'll see that the lifetime cost is far cheaper.
